Taraneh Maghame is the Vice President of Tessera, Inc, and in these written remarks she provides an interesting view on how a patent-dependent company sees the various reform issues. As readers here might know, Tessera has had a rough year with respect to its patent portfolio, because the Patent Office has been rejecting claims from several of the company’s foundational patents as part of various pending reexamination proceedings.
